Description

Broadcast to the cloud or a CDN right from your ENG or cine camera with the Prism Mobile MK II Backpack 859 with 2 x 5G Modems from Teradek. This compact encoder backpack provides a bonding backpack, a Prism Mobile MK II encoder with a Gold mount battery plate, and two Node 5G external modems.

The Prism Mobile MKII features 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs and multiple transmission output options that support high-resolution video up to 10-bit 4K HDR 4:2:2 with stereo or 5.1 surround sound. It supports high-quality, low-latency HEVC/H.265 and AVC/H.264 streams via cloud applications such as Teradek Core or RTMP/RTSP/SRT to servers and CDNs.

The output options include two internal LTE modems, two external Node 5G modems, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi networks. It supports bonding with any combination of streaming outputs up to a total of six networks using the backpack. You can also record your stream onto an SD card using the internal SD card slot, or output to USB for external storage . Management options include the OLED display, a web UI via LAN or Wi-Fi, and there is a Prism App for iOS that also provides configuration and control options. The Prism Mobile MK II unit is powered via a 2-pin power input or via the included Gold mount battery plate.

Compact, low profile, and loaded with 5G connectivity, the Prism Mobile MK II is the ultimate contribution encoder for live coverage from the field. Combined with Prism Mobile's built-in cellular connectivity, the backpack provides up to 6 simultaneous cellular connections for super robust streaming from any location. The backpacks are compatible with all Prism Mobiles.
 
Connectivity from Anywhere
Get exceptional worldwide internet connectivity virtually anywhere you go with two internal high-throughput Node 5G modems uniquely designed for video applications. For maximumredundancy, the Prism Mobile can bond up to nine network connections across four mobile hotspots, two Ethernet, and three modems, ensuring your stream never misses a beat.
 
High Performance Modems
The Prism Mobile MK II internal LTE modems offer dual SIM profiles, global connectivity, and cutting-edge speeds as well as a set of high gain antennas to maximize connectivity withinstadiums and challenging network environments.
 
LTE Model
The Prism MK II LTE model provides high-performance cellular connectivity in camera-back or desktop form factors. For additional bandwidth, and extra Node modems can be attached via a locking USB connector. The included two 5G Node modems expand your network speed and access.
 
Private Mobile Networks
The Prism Mobile Mk II supports CBRS and private mobile networks, allowing broadcasters to deliver live video over high availability, highly reliable wireless infrastructure for the most critical applications.
 
Ultra-Low Latency Streaming
Teradek Reliable Transport (TRT) represents a groundbreaking advancement in streaming video transport over local (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN). Designed for resilience and ultralow latency, TRT can deliver audio and video over single and bonded networks with a round trip time (RTT) of just 100ms and 250ms respectively. TRT is available on all Prism devices and is the ideal transport protocol for real-time point-to-point and multipoint streaming in live production environments.
 
Configure Prism From Your Phone
With the Prism app for iOS and Android, you can manage your Prism devices right from your phone or tablet. Fire up the app to configure your encoder, monitor, and manage your feed, and review streaming stats in real-time. Lacking internet signal? The Prism app allows you to share your phone's 5G or LTE bandwidth with your Prism device.

Core is Teradek's cloud orchestration platform that helps you securely monitor, manage, distribute, and archive your live video feeds from anywhere in the world. Optional subscription is required.
