Description
Comfortable ALEXA 35 Shoulder Rig
Ideal for sports and live entertainment applications, the ARRI Operator Set for ALEXA 35 enables quick transitions from tripod-based use to comfortable handheld capture. This lightweight set creates an ergonomic, shoulder-mounted rig that will feel reassuringly familiar to AMIRA users. The Operator Set comprises the Top Operator Plate, the Top Operator Grip, and the Touchdown Baseplate and Receiver Plate.
Top Operator Plate TOP-1
The dedicated, lightweight TOP-1 Operator Top Plate has an optically centered 15mm LWS rod bracket to support matte boxes and lens motors. It incorporates multiple anti-twist 3/8"-16, 1/4"-20, and M4 threads for mounting an articulated plate, rod brackets, and other accessories.
Top Operator Grip TOG-1
Equipped with a substantial walnut grip, the TOG-1 Top Operator Grip provides a handle for your ALEXA 35 that remains comfortable even in colder weather, unlike metal grips. The 19mm crossbar EVF mount at the front provides both side-to-side and front-to-back adjustment for positioning your viewfinder for optimal comfort. Like its AMIRA counterpart, this grip slides into the top plate, providing multiple 3/8"-16, 1/4"-20, and M4 threads, and can be used with handgrip extensions.
Touchdown Baseplate TBP-1
The Touchdown Baseplate TBP-1 from ARRI is specifically designed to mount the ALEXA 35 for use in live multicam environments. Combined with the TRP-1, the baseplate allows you to quickly and securely mount and detach the camera from a tripod, and its solid, self-aligning design improves mounting speed over traditional VCT plates. The Touchdown plate locks into place with a side lever, and its tension is adjustable with the turn of a slotted screw. Rosettes enable you to attach right and left handgrips, and a front 15mm LWS rod bracket provides space for optional rod systems. Rubber pads on the front and back points provide a stable base for resting your camera on a flat surface when not using the receiver plate.
Touchdown Receiver Plate TRP-1
Combined with the TBP-1, the Touchdown Receiver Plate TRP-1 provides the base for easy transitioning between tripod-based and handheld capture. It features multiple stainless steel tripod threads on the bottom for wide compatibility with different quick release plates and rubber pads on the front and back points to provide a stable base.
