Description
The Codex Compact Drive Express 1TB and Reader Bundle from ARRI offers a fast, more affordable Apple ProRes recording option exclusively for ALEXA 35 and ALEXA 35 Live cameras. This set comprises three Compact Express 1TB drives with end caps and one Codex Compact Drive USB-C reader.
- Apple ProRes 4444XQ: this 1TB drive records approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- Apple UHD ProRes 4444: this 1TB drive records approximately 2 hours.
- A white ring around this drive helps you easily differentiate it from standard Codex Compact drives.
Transfer your ALEXA Mini LF footage using the Codex Compact Drive Reader from ARRI. This single-drive reader features a backwards-compatible USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface and provides a maximum download speed of 8 Gb/s.
No driver or license is required to use the Codex Compact Drive Reader and it is compatible with both Mac and Windows. Its USB Type-C connector provides bus power comparable to that of the Thunderbolt 3 standard.
